#makermeet 2016 in Thurles

Numberphile in action

Learning how to make the most with a single cut.

A spirited Maker Meet kicks off the 2016 ICT in Education Conference on Friday evening at 7PM in Thurles. All the usual suspects plan to bring an assortment of creative objects and by 9PM, Twitter and Facebook will be filled with clever things to inspire teachers who want to show young people how to create with paper, scissors, small batteries, LEDs, pipe cleaners and Googly eyes.

In a first for Ireland, each 20 minute session of the Maker Meet will have on-scene reporting with live chat served by Facebook Live Video. Listen to @ictedu on Twitter and the ICT in Education Conference on Facebook for the way you can watch and comment on the action.
